The U.S. company Google has announced that it will begin manufacturing its own unmanned cars in order to increase safety on the road, as confirmed on Tuesday the co-founder, Sergey Brin, during a press conference in California.

"We're all very excited about this vehicle, it is something that will allow us to go forward in the technology of automatic driving and understand the limitations," said Chris Urmson, director of the project, in a statement released by the BBC.
The car will seat two people, will be electric and will have a maximum speed of 40 kilometers per hour help us to ensure safety. This is the idea of Google to "improve the lives of people, transforming the way you move."
As explained by the company, the vehicle uses a combination of laser and radar sensors and a camera to drive autonomously. For its part, Google maps designed specifically for the program which integrated the car and is being tested in the first prototypes will be developed.
